Installation/Site Specific-Spell Response #3 pg. 44-72

This response to David Abram's The Spell of the Sensuous (pg. 44-72) was created after reading this excerpt on page 45; "Without this body, without this tongue or these ears, you could neither speak nor hear another's voice." The thought process behind the sketch was it illustrated a being that could not hear, see, or speak, thus it could not hear, see, or speak ill. These past few years have been filled with people being vile, spreading rumors, and being the disgusting creatures humans can be. I read this passage and wanted to create a creature that turned communication into evil, and somehow paint the creature that looked evil, into something that did not know the concept due to lack of sensory skills. That, and the fact that I haven't done a creepy drawing in a while. I enjoy my macabre art.
